![]() Release Date: 24th Mar 2003 ( USA) / 2nd May 2003 ( UK/EU) The Wii version flipped the world, though, reversing the map and it was the GameCube geography that was used when Midna and the Twilight Realm got an HD remaster on Wii U (as did Wind Waker). Setting a precedent that Nintendo would later repeat with Breath of the Wild, Twilight Princess straddled generations, bookending the GameCube and launching the Wii with some added waggle and widescreen. For many fans it was the 'realistic' Zelda they'd been pining for after Nintendo took a left turn with The Wind Waker's cel-shading, and although it didn't quite strike all the right notes (the 3D Zelda formula was starting to get a little long in the tooth at this stage), it still features some breathtaking dungeons, memorably oddball characters and a unique atmosphere. Alien hominid gba ebay series#The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess took the series back to an art style closer to Ocarina of Time, albeit a little earthier and obviously benefiting from the power of the 'Cube. It is definatly worth the money.Release Date: 11th Dec 2006 ( USA) / 15th Dec 2006 ( UK/EU) Oh yes and if you play the main game with an extra player (your buddy) it doubles the fun! Also your character is custamizable with a series of funny hat unlocks. It is easy to learn the moves in around half an hour and also once you complete the main part of the game you are welcomed to over 5+ mini some even up to 4 players. The only downside of the game is the SFX - The music is great but you may get sick of hearing the same old bang bang, whizz whizz of explosions and your trusty lazer gun. There are tons of little moves you can do such as biting someones head off, using an agent as a piggyback ride, from digging undergrown and pulling them under and the classic charge up shot + more! The levels are simply fun which all contain mini-bosses and bosses, all the bosses are somewhat humerous on appearance but can controller smashing hard! The only downside to alien hominid that it may be a bit to hard on those not familiar with the old-school types of side scrollers. The gameplay is great, its pure eye-sweating button mashing fun! There are tons of colourful powerups to collect aswell of loads of funny destructable vehicles from an ordinary car to a furry yeti, also the enviroments are destructable, there is nothing more satifying as chucking globules of grenades at a pack of FBI agents to not only see there guts fly every where but to knock down a building in a barrage of bricks and smoke! The characters and scenes you scroll through are beutifally all hand drawn (even the 10 second long explosions!) by Dan Paladin, which really brings the game to life and is probably one of the most appealing things about it. Dont be put off by it, it is a fresh new experience from all the other 3d games your probably have. Ok well lets compare this game to others, first of the major difference you will see is that it is 2D! What?! 2D on this super consoles! Stop! This is great, this is old school gaming at its finest. Well lets see first off I do not regret buying this not one bit, it has been totally worth the money! You can get a cheap copy of ebay or maybe some of your local game stores for around £15-£25 so thats good price for what your getting. ![]() *Do not judge the game by the flash version! Do not! It is tottally different! ![]() By Mantine | Review Date: DecemA breif history lesson on Alien Hominid: Alien Hominid started out as a Flash game made by two fans of old-school and flash legiands Tom Fulp and Dan "Synj" Paladin, Which can be played here: ![]()
